Mobile Discovery & Distribution

Consumers discover and access Cielo’s mobile internet sites and applications through a combination of touch points:

  • Mobile display banner ads.
  • Websites that promote a company’s mobile presence.  Consumers simply enter their cell-phone numbers to receive a text-message with a link to our client’s  mobile “property.”  
  • Text-message short codes and keywords on product packaging and in traditional media. 

For example, a consumer views a BMW sign at an airport containing a short code and keyword.  The consumer simply sends a text message with the keyword “BMW” to the  short code 77982.  He or she then receives a text message back providing a link that displays the BMW mobile internet site.

BMW’s Out-of-Home  campaign drives consumers from airport signs to a mobile site that offers video (or a photo gallery for non-video phones), and the ability to look up and click to call a dealer to arrange a test drive.  The use of different keywords allows BMW to track and measure campaign effectiveness.
